In Scrum, the (development) team has full authority. Only when I recently had a look at the book “Software project management for Dummies” I realized how stark this simple statement contrasts with some traditional approaches to software project management.

A must see for anyone responsible for development of a software product: Scrum et al. by Ken Schwaber. Besides the actual contents of the talk I like that it is being delivered without any slides.
