Scrum versus Dummies

In Scrum, the (development) team has full authority. Only when I recently had a look at the book “Software project management for Dummies” I realized how stark this simple statement contrasts with some traditional approaches to software project management.

I guess it’s obvious that the “us and them” mentality expressed in the “for dummies” approach is doomed to fail.
