“Flat-Tax” for Switzerland?
The weekly newspaper Die Weltwoche reports that the Swiss party FDP plans an initiative for a drastically simlipfied tax system called “Easy Tax”.
I comes pretty close to a flat tax, there are no dedecutions possible and there is a lower bound below which you won’t pay any taxes to be socially fair. Instead of one flat rate they suggest some 3 fixed steps.
That goes into the right direction.
And: They mention a website dedicated to the flat tax www.flattax.ch. Neat!
