The Power of Online Talks
Thinking about some recent discoveries on Video Google, I suddenly realised how great some of this content is.
It’s not only about the stupid trick videos, funny videos (like mainly on youtube), or fake teen-video-blogs. There is some real content. For instance the whole Google Tech Talk series allows people to get acces to talks of some of the most renowned scientistst. As a PhD student I know that a good talk is often the best introduction to a topic, it can be motivating and inspiring.
This is access to really valuable information. (Google: Making the worlds information accessible). For free. Wow.
Another example: We just put up a talk of Maria Otero about Microfinance on the News Page of our client Andromeda. It’s a really great talk about an important subject.
